This custom cocktail is an easy-to-make, intriguing variation on a margarita — and was made especially for the debut of the new bar menu at Michael’s restaurant in Santa Monica.
Moisten the rim of a cocktail glass with a little tequila and dip in margarita salt to coat the rim. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes and pour in the 1 ½ ounces tequila, the Dimmi Liquore, grapefruit juice, and honey. Shake well and strain into the glass. Serve immediately, garnished with the grapefruit twist.
