Oven-Baked Chicken
Total time: 60 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2/3 cup cup original bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cut-up whole chicken (3 to 3 1/2 pounds)
Directions
  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. In 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish, melt butter in oven.
  3. Stir together Bisquick™, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken.
  4. Place skin sides down in dish (dish and butter should be hot).
  5. Bake 35 minutes; turn chicken.
  6. Bake about 15 minutes longer or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest pieces are cut to bone (at least 165°F).
