Nacho Mama’s Grilled Cheese
A grilled cheese recipe that tastes like a piled-high plate of nachos? Yes, please! This easy-to-make sandwich recipe, courtesy of GoGo squeeZ, can be prepared with whole wheat bread for a healthier version of one of our favorite snacks.
- 1 Tablespoon butter, room temperature
- 2 slices bread
- 1 slice Monterey jack cheese
- 1 slice Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tablespoon guacamole
- 1 Tablespoon black beans, cooked
- Pickled jalapenos, to taste
Spread the butter on the outside of both slices of bread. Then, layer the cheese, guacamole, beans, and jalapeños on one slice of bread before closing the sandwich.
Heat a frying pan, then place the sandwich in the pan to cook, flipping it once after the cheese has started to melt and the bread is brown. The sandwich is done cooking when both sides are browned and the cheese is fully melted.
