Stir together the lemon juice, sugar, and water, until it has dissolved. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 1 ½ ounces gin, and top with the fresh lemonade. Garnish with mint leaves and slices of lemon. Serve immediately.
