Mojitos are utterly refreshing, and because of this, they’re gone before you know it! Making a frozen version of the Mojito will help it last longer. Besides, who wouldn’t love a mojito-flavored slushy?

Ingredients

  • 1 container frozen limeade concentrate
  • 3/4 Cups Key lime-flavored (or other light) rum
  • 1/3 Cup fresh mint leaves
  • Fresh mint sprigs and lime slices

Directions

Combine limeade concentrate, rum, and fresh mint leaves in a blender. Fill to the 5-cup mark with cracked ice. Blend until smooth. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lime slices before serving, if desired.

Mint Shopping Tip

Keep both fresh herbs and dried herbs on hand. Dry herbs will last a long time, while fresh herbs have a short shelf-life.

Mint Cooking Tip

If you want the flavor of herbs in your food without the actual pieces, wrap them in cheese cloth and cook; discard before eating.
