The sweetness of crème and tartness of ginger beer make the perfect combination in this cocktail.

Add mezcal to a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer, then slowly pour in the crème de cassis (it will settle to the bottom). Squeeze the lime wedge over the top of the drink, then drop it in and serve. Garnish with a lime wheel.
