What’s better than a McDonald’s Egg McMuffin? A McDonald’s Egg McMuffin served in between two pancakes. When McDonald’s introduced the McGriddle to menus of various countries in 2003, people were more than excited to try this new take on the breakfast sandwich, and the company made the smart decision to introduce it to all of their menus. Though this sandwich receives flack for its health content — a pancake-wrapped breakfast is a bit decadent — it still remains one of McDonald’s most loved menu items.
Follow the instructions on the Bisquick box to make the base for your pancakes. Once your pancake batter is mixed, add the maple syrup in order to thicken and sweeten the mixture.
Cook the pancakes on a griddle using a 4-inch ring.
Heat a skillet and spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Crack 1 egg into an egg ring placed in a frying pan over high heat and poke the yolk with a fork so that it flows throughout the egg and cooks evenly. When the egg becomes frim, carefully remove the ring and flip the egg over to its other side.
On the heel of the pancake, place the cheese down first, followed by the bacon, and then the egg last. Top it with the ‘crown’ pancake and enjoy.
