Marinated Grilled Chuck Steak Recipe

This easy recipe for chuck steak rests heavily on the use of marinade to soften the meat. Chuck steak is a lean meat that can be tough without a little aid, and this marinade should do the trick while bringing out chuck steak’s rich flavor. 


  • 1/4 Cup vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup beef stock
  • 1 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 2 1 1/2 pound chuck steaks
  • 1 Teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 Cup olive oil


Mix together the vinegar, olive oil, beef stock, salt, pepper and seasoning into a large mixing bowl.

Pour mixture over steaks, and place them into a large sealable plastic storage bag. Refrigerate for 4 hours.

Remove steaks from marinade, and grill over medium-hot coals for 8 minutes on either side, or until steaks reach desired state of doneness.
