Mo Hodges at BIG adds smokiness to a classic margarita with some mezcal and ground black pepper.
- 1.5 Ounces silver tequila (T1)
- 1/2 Ounce mezcal (Del Maguey Vida)
- 1/2 Ounce bergamot juice
- 1/2 Ounce lime juice
- 1/2 Ounce grapefruit liquor (Combier Pamplemousse)
- 1/4 Ounce simple syrup
- Ground pepper
Rim glass with salt and ground pepper. Combine first 6 ingredients in a shaker, shake, and strain. Top with grapefruit twist.
