Mo Hodges at BIG adds smokiness to a classic margarita with some mezcal and ground black pepper.

Deliver Ingredients


  • 1.5 Ounces silver tequila (T1)
  • 1/2 Ounce mezcal (Del Maguey Vida)
  • 1/2 Ounce bergamot juice
  • 1/2 Ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 Ounce grapefruit liquor (Combier Pamplemousse)
  • 1/4 Ounce simple syrup
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper


Rim glass with salt and ground pepper. Combine first 6 ingredients in a shaker, shake, and strain. Top with grapefruit twist.
