Lulu’s Crazy Creola Seasoning

Take your gumbo to the next level with this homemade Creole seasoning

Use this creole seasoning in place of store bought seasoning, courtesy of Lucy Buffett from her cookbook Gumbo Love.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 Teaspoons granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • 4 Teaspoons granulated onion or onion powder
  • 1/4 Cup paprika
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons white pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried oregano

Directions

Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container.

Makes 1/2 cup
