Ingredients

  • 2 ounce cedar-infused aviation gin
  • 3/4 ounce housemade grenadine
  • 3/4 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  • egg white
  • pinot noir

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a tin and dry shake vigorously. The egg will make the process harder.
  2. Add ice and shake again.
  3. Double strain into coupe glass.
  4. Serve with a sidecar (3/4 ounce) of Oregon Pinot noir. Add the Pinot while drinking the cocktail, which will add some tannins and richness that tames the cedar just a bit.
