Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary
Use the hottest veggie around, the heirloom tomato, for a twist on the traditional Bloody Mary. The Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary is served at Napa Valley Grille in Napa Valley, Calif.
- 2 Ounces Belvedere Vodka
- 3/4 Ounces lime juice
- 3/4 Ounces jalapeno simple syrup
- 6 Ounces cilantro leaves
- 1 heirloom tomato
- A splash of olive juice
- 2 parts salt and 1 part celery salt, to rim
In a shaker combine cilantro leaves and tomato. Add ice and muddle well. Add the vodka, lime juice, jalapeno simple syrup, and olive juice, and shake.
Rim glass with salt and celery salt. Pour drink into the glass, and garnish with tomato wedge and cilantro sprig.
