I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love a good root beer float. Have you? Creamy vanilla ice cream floating in a tall glass of frosty root beer on a hot summer day… what's not to love? Add some spiced rum and nutmeg to the mix and you have an adult drink with all the fun of being a kid again.

  • 2 Ounces spiced rum
  • 12 Ounces high-quality root beer

Oat Shopping Tip

Be sure to purchase the correct flour a recipe calls for – flours differ in gluten or protein content, making each suited for specific tasks.

Oat Cooking Tip

Insert a toothpick into the center of cakes, bar cookies, and quick breads to test for doneness – it should come out clean or only have a few crumbs clinging to it.
