- 2 slices thick crusty bread
- butter, room temperature
- generous amount of Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fig jam
- 2 slices cooked bacon, chopped
Heat a pan over medium- high heat.
Butter one side of each slice of bread and slather fig jam on the other side. Arrange with cheese and bacon, the place the sandwich on the pan.
Allow bread to become toasted a dark brown.
Flip to toast the other side.
Once the cheese is melted, remove from heat and serve.
