This guacamole is topped with a "Mexican Sauce”, or what’s referred to in the US as a Pico de Gallo. It makes for a great presentation.

  • 4 mashed avocados
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 6 chopped jalapeño chiles
  • 6 spoonfuls of chopped coriander
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 Teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • toasted tortilla chips
  • toasted tortilla chips
  • Salt and pepper


In a bowl, place the pulped avocados and mix it with a fork until a paste is formed. Add the onion, tomatoes, chiles, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour Mexican sauce on top. Serve with tortilla chips.
