Ginger Soy Pork Belly
Total time: 4.15 hours
Ingredients
  • 3 pound pork belly
  • 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1/2 jalapeƱo
  • 3 each green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped/grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
Directions
  1. In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, sear the fat side of the pork belly until golden brown.
  2. Transfer to a slow cooker with fat side up.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours until tender.
  4. Remove from cooker and transfer to cutting board.
  5. Allow to cool slightly then slice.
  6. The sauce can be blended or just ladled over the sliced pork belly and served.
