- 1 Cup light corn syrup, preferably Karo
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 Cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 Cup white chocolate chips
- 1 Teaspoon corn oil
- 1 Cup flaked coconut
- 1 Teaspoon water
- 5 Dashes of green food coloring
Spray a serving plate or shallow tray with cooking spray.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook corn syrup and sugar together, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter; mix well.
Add cereal; stir until evenly coated.
Pour onto prepared plate and let cool 3–5 minutes.
Spray hands with cooking spray and shape cereal mixture into 1 oval-shaped football, about 12 by 7 inches.
In saucepan over low heat, melt semi-sweet chocolate and butterscotch chips together, stirring constantly.
Spread over football top and sides.
Combine white chocolate chips and oil in a small plastic bag.
Microwave on high for 30–60 seconds, until smooth.
Snip off one corner of bag with scissors and carefully squeeze to make seam and laces for the football.
Cool at least 45 minutes, or until firm. Cut into bars.
Combine coconut, water, and food coloring in a large plastic re-sealable bag.
Gently toss until coconut is uniformly green.
Sprinkle coconut on plate around football to make “grass.”
