Espíritu Alegre Tequila Cocktail
On Nov. 1 and 2, people around the world honor the spirits of their relatives with gifts and joyful decorations where they are buried. It is said that Nov. 2 is the day that the adult spirits return, and traditional food and beverages like tequila and mezcal are commonly offered to the returning souls.
Raise a glass to honor the Day of the Dead with an Espíritu Alegre cocktail made with two famous Mexican spirits – tequila and mezcal.

- 2 Ounces reposado tequila, preferably Blue Nectar Reposado Special Craft Tequila
- 1/4 Ounce honey syrup
- 1/4 Ounce mezcal
- 2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients together, add ice, and stir for 1-2 minutes, until cold. Strain into a rocks glass.
