This simple, three-step process is the easiest way to boil eggs on the stovetop for Easter. This easy recipe allows your eggs to be ready in a snap for decorating or simply slicing up and enjoying! For best results, boil eggs that are seven to 10 days old.
- 12 medium eggs
- cold water
On the stovetop, place 12 eggs in a large sauce pan.
Pour cold water just enough to cover the tops of the eggs. Heat the pan on medium high heat until water stars to boil.
Once the eggs begin to boil, remove from the heat, and allow them to sit in the hot water for 15 minutes, covered tightly by a lid.
