He shares, “The notes in this cocktail evoke the feeling of drinking outside on a hot day — from the vegetal notes in the Roca Patrón to the ancho chile liqueur and the addition of fresh kale.”

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Ounces tequila, like Roca Patrón Silver
  • 3/4 Ounces mezcal, such as Ilegal Mezcal Joven
  • 3/4 Ounces Ancho chile liqueur, such as Ancho Reyes
  • 3/4 Ounces fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 Ounces honey syrup
  • fresh kale
  • seasoning, such as Old Bay Seasoning

Directions

Shake all ingredients together and serve over ice in a low-ball glass rimmed with Old Bay Seasoning.
