“Happy Halloween ghouls! I feel like I’ve entered the twilight zone and turned into a miniature Martha Stewart for Halloween. I went all out for this October-inspired smoothie. It may look gory, but it’s actually quite delicious!”

Ingredients

For the Smoothie

  • 2 Servings chocolate nutrition powder, such as Chocolate Vega One Nutritional Shake
  • 1 Tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 Tablespoon raw cacao nibs
  • 1 Cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 1 Tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 Pitted Medjool date
  • 2 Cups ice cubes
  • 2 Tablespoons frozen berries
  • 1/4 Teaspoon filtered water

Directions

For the Smoothie

In a high powered blender combine everything except the berries and water, and blend together until smooth.

Pour this chocolate smoothie into a serving glass.

Then rinse out your blender and then blend the frozen berries with water into a chunky puree, and make a bloody mess by spooning this mixture on top!
