Buffalo sauce usually gets all the love when it comes to chicken wings—until you try this recipe using pesto. It's light but still intensely flavorful, and will soon be your new favorite way to cook wings.

- 1 Pound chicken wings
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon pepper
- 2 Teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 jar (1/2 cup) pesto
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Pat down the chicken wings with a paper towel to dry.
In a bowl mix chicken wings, baking powder, salt and pepper and garlic powder.
Place on a sheet-pan with a wire rack sprayed with cooking spray so the wings don’t stick.
The wire rack helps distribute heat around the wings so that you do not have to flip.
Spray wings with oil spray and place in the middle rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
After they are done cooking, mix in a bowl with pesto and enjoy.
If the pesto is a paste add a little bit of olive oil while mixing.
