This is a delicious treat that combines the tartness from the dried cranberries with rich dark chocolate fudge. Because of the red cranberries that dot the chocolate fudge like holly berries, it makes the perfect edible holiday gift.
Combine the cranberries and corn syrup in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce until about 3 tablespoons of liquid remains. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the chocolate chips, and stir until completely melted.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir until the mixture is thick and glossy. Pour into an 8x8 –inch pan lined with plastic wrap, and chill for several hours, or until firm.
