Clean Eating Mexican Zpaghetti

Cut out unnecessary carbs with this Mexican-inspired zucchini pasta

This recipe is super simple, and takes almost no time to make. The fresh crunch of the zucchini noodles matches nicely with the mild heat of the salsa, and the addition of ground turkey makes this a complete meal. 


For the Clean Eating Mexican Zpaghetti

  • 1 Pound ground turkey, such as Foster Farms Organic Ground Turkey
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 Teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 Large tomato
  • 1/2 Large yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 Medium zucchini, spiralized
  • 12 Ounces salsa (pick your favorite)


For the Clean Eating Mexican Zpaghetti

In a large skillet, brown the turkey in the oil. When it’s mostly cooked, stir in the spices.

When it’s finished cooking, remove from heat and stir in the chopped tomato, onion and salsa.

Place some zoodles in a bowl, top with sauce and enjoy!
