Ingredients
  • 1 package butter vanilla sugar cookie mix, preferably krusteaz
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In medium bowl, stir together vanilla sugar cookie mix, butter, and egg until well blended.
  3. Divide dough in half.
  4. Add cocoa powder to one half of dough.
  5. Hand knew to incorporate cocoa.
  6. On lightly floured surface, roll dough into two separate 12-inch logs.
  7. Chill dough logs for 30 minutes.
  8. Place chilled logs side-by-side and roll together into one 20-inch log.
  9. Fold log in half and place side-by-side, alternating colors.
  10. Roll dough into 12-inch log, twisting log several times to marble the dough.
  11. Chill 15 minutes.
  12. Slice dough into 1/4-inch slices and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  13. Bake 9–11 minutes.
