Wash the strawberries and pat them dry. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and set them aside.
Fill a pot with chocolate and place it in a saucepan with about 2 inches of boiling water. Stir until the chocolate is melted. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate while it is still hot, coating ¾ of the berry, before placing it on the parchment paper.
Roll the chocolate-dipped berries chopped almonds and place them back on the baking sheet. Repeat with all the berries, and then put tray in the refrigerator overnight.
