Ingredients

The Burning Bush

  • 2 Ounces whiskey, such as Bushmills Black Bush
  • 3/4 Ounces Jalapeño Infused Maple Syrup
  • 3/4 Ounces fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 Ounce Lustau Los Arcos Amontillado Sherry
  • 2 Egg whites
  • Angostura Bitters

Jalapeño Infused Maple Syrup

  • 4 Ounces hot water
  • 16 Ounces maple syrup

Directions

The Burning Bush

Dry shake, then shake over ice, serve in a coupe glass with Angostura bitter garnish and a jalapeño.

Jalapeño Infused Maple Syrup

Stir water and maple syrup together.

Add one slice of jalapeño pepper and let sit for eight hours.

Strain and refrigerate.
