Bourbon Colada

Shake up your beachside cocktails this spring

If you’re looking for a little extra kick in your piña colada, give it a little extra kick with bourbon instead of white rum. The additional warming flavors of a beautiful bourbon will help you transition from cold winter days to the lazy, warm days of spring and summer.

  • 1 1/2 Ounce bourbon, preferably Jim Beam
  • 3/4 Ounces pineapple juice
  • 3/4 Ounces coconut liqueur (or 1/2 ounce coconut cream)
  • 3/4 Ounces heavy whipping cream


Short shake all ingredients.

Serve over crushed ice.
