Cast your ballot, than sip on it: the Ballot Cocktail, made in honor of the presidential election, is made at Westwood, Calif.'s Napa Valley Grille.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ounces Maker's Mark
  • 1/2 Ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/2 Ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • 1 orange twist
  • 1 sugar cube

Directions

Put sugar cube in glass, add dashes of bitters. Pour rest of ingredients into a shaker. Use an orange twist to rub on the rim of a cognac snifter glass. Shake and serve up in a snifter with the orange twist.
