Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 Tablespoons raw, organic honey
  • ¼ Cup uncooked oatmeal flakes

Directions

Blend avocado, honey, and uncooked oatmeal flakes.

Apply a medium layer to your face and let sit for 10-15 minutes.

To exfoliate away dry, dull skin, after allowing the homemade facial mask recipe to sit for 10-15 minutes, use gentle circular motions to scrub your face, using the oatmeal as a manual exfoliator.

Avocado Shopping Tip

Avoid very soft avocados; choose those that yield slightly to finger pressure.

Avocado Cooking Tip

Avocados oxidize quickly; use lemon juice to keep the flesh from turning brown.
