Apple Parfait

Parfaits work well as a breakfast, snack, or dessert and the sky is your limit when it comes to choosing ingredients to layer. If you're looking for the taste of apple pie without the calories, then this applesauce parfait recipe is for you! 

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cored and diced
  • 2 Teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 Cups applesauce
  • 2 Cups granola
  • 1 Cup Greek-styled vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup toasted walnuts

Directions

Combine apples with cinnamon and set aside.

Select 4 glasses or bowls for parfait. Layer 1/4 cup applesauce, 1/4 cup granola, 1/4 cup diced cinnamon-apples, and 2 tablespoons yogurt per glass or bowl. 

Repeat layers and sprinkle each with one tablespoon walnuts.
