A Real Italian Date Night
In New York City, the opportunities to have a great date are endless. Boasting some of the world's best restaurants and bars, as well as museums, sites, and parks, the city is a playground for couples and singles alike.
Sometimes, though, we're tired of being original and we'd like to just have a great, classic night on the town. Well, here it is, the Maritime Hotel's Italian spot, La Bottega Café, is hosting "Films de Lunedi," which basically translates to Movie Mondays.
Head to the restaurant any Monday night until the end of winter to see some of the greatest Italian films to date and enjoy a classic meal for two. During the movie, snack on hot zeppoles, complimentary zesty popcorn, and two signature cocktails.
Great films, great food, and, hopefully, great company — what are you waiting for? Plus, we can tell you from experience that you're in good hands. Italians do romance well and food best, so it's a win-win.
Here's a list of upcoming films you can catch at "Films de Lunedi":
- GiGi (Minnelli) — March 11
- Nights of Cabiria (Fellini) — March 18
- Inferno (Argento) — March 25
If you're looking to make your own Italian cinema night at home, here's the list of signature cocktails served at La Bottega for Monday movie night:
La Dolce Vita
Ketel One, grapes, honey, orange bitters
Il Giardino
