There’s nothing better than ending your Thanksgiving meal with a slice of warm pumpkin pie and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. But as Fall comes around and Starbucks comes out with their pumpkin spiced latte, it got us thinking, what about pumpkin pie as a drink? This recipe is a fun way to reuse your leftovers in a delicious, easy way without making an extra trip to the grocery store.

Ingredients
  • 1 slice of pumpkin pie
  • 1 tablespoon 1 percent milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinammon
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
Directions
  1. First, remove the filling from the crust of the pie.
  2. Next, add the filling, the ice cream, the milk, vanilla extract, half of the cinnamon, and half of the nutmeg to the blender. Blend all of the ingredients until well combined and the mixture has a thick, milkshake consistency. Add the pie crust with the remaining ingredients to the blender and blend for a few seconds longer until the crust is broken up a bit, but not totally blended. Pour and serve.
