Optional tip: Rim the glasses with cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar for a little extra spice in your shake.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of Pumpkin Pie
  • 1 Tablespoon 1 percent milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Teaspoon cinammon
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 scoops Vanilla Bean ice cream

Directions

First, remove the filling from the crust of the pie.

Next, add the filling, the ice cream, the milk, vanilla extract, half of the cinnamon, and half of the nutmeg to the blender. Blend all of the ingredients until well combined and the mixture has a thick, milkshake consistency. Add the pie crust with the remaining ingredients to the blender and blend for a few seconds longer until the crust is broken up a bit, but not totally blended. Pour and serve.

Pumpkin Pie Cooking Tip

Insert a toothpick into the center of cakes, bar cookies, and quick breads to test for doneness – it should come out clean or only have a few crumbs clinging to it.
