Portland Hotel Serves Up 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Cocktail

For those who read Fifty Shades of Grey (and the subsequent two volumes) and wanted to live the book out, your wish has come true — well, sort of. The Heathman Hotel, featured in the popular novels, has released a hotel package that lets you immerse yourself in the Fifty Shades universe.  While the packages are pretty outlandish (heck, there's even a private helicopter in one), there's also our favorite Fifty Shades inspiration: a unique cocktail inspired by the trilogy.

The cheapest Fifty Shades package is called the "Inner Goddess," which will get you a lovely bottle of white wine delivered to your room — with a grey tie wrapped tightly around the bottle's neck. Even if you don't feel like paying for a room, you can still get in on the fun and order the Fifty Shades cocktail in the hotel bar.

The cocktail, which was created by the hotel's head bartender, is called "Fifty Shades of Gin" and contains, gin, rhubarb puree, lime juice, simply syrup, cranberry bitters and a dash of cava. Don't feel like heading to Portland to try the drink? The recipe is provided on Travelers Today so you can make it in the comfort of your own home. Let's just say drinks for your next book club meeting are checked off the list.
