The truth is, whether you enjoy them as the prepackaged, frozen mini versions, or a homemade version, pizza bagels often hit the spot when you are in the mood for pizza quickly but don’t want to order a pie. Personalized and easily portion-regulated, this breakfast food’s pizza makeover is also kid-friendly and can be made by even the clumsiest little hands.

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel
  • ¼ Cup marinara sauce
  • ½ Teaspoon oregano
  • ½ Cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cut your bagel in half and place it on top of a foil-wrapped baking sheet, either for your toaster oven or your regular oven. Pour the marinara sauce evenly onto the both sides of the bagel and sprinkle on the oregano. Divide the cheese in half and sprinkle the cheese evenly on both bagel halves. Put in the toaster oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bagel is toasted.
