The Pit Authentic Barbecue's Coleslaw
This coleslaw is the perfect cool flavor to compliment the hot and tangy barbecue from Eastern North Carolina and is one of the more than a dozen sides from executive chef Darrell Brown's menu at The Pit.
- 2 Cups Duke's Whipped Salad Dressing
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon French's yellow mustard
- 3/4 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
- A dash of salt and pepper
- 2 Pounds green cabbage, shredded
- 2 1/2 Ounces red cabbage, shredded
- 2 Ounces carrots
Mix all the ingredients together well in a large bowl. Serve before chilling.
