Scary fact: Imported grapes have 14 different pesticides present, even after washing.
In this latest infographic, released by ecomom, our favorite fruits and vegetables are ranked by pesticide quantity and type. Apples ended up having the most pesticides after washing, followed by imported plums, celery, cilantro, and potatoes.
As for number of different pesticides, strawberries and domestic grapes have 13 different pesticides, sweet bell peppers have 11, and leafy greens have 10.
