The Perfect Granola

Eating granola may help lower your cholesterol and prevent certain chronic diseases.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Chopped Almonds
  • 1/4 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 Cup Raw Buckwheat Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1/4 Cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Pecas
  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Raw Almond Butter, Unsalted
  • 1/2 Cup Grade B Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 2 Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit

2. Mix together Oats, Buckwheat, Cranberries, Almonds, Chia Seeds, Hemp, Cinnamon, and Cardamom

3. Melt the Almond Butter, Maple Syrup, Coconut Oil, Vanilla, and Sea Salt over low heat for about 3 minutes, until the ingredients are blended together

4. Pour mixture over the dry ingredients, coating well

5. Line a large pan with parchment paper and spread granola evenly over the pan

6. Bake for 15 mintues and then flip the granola onto the other side.  Bake for another 8 minutes until golden brown

7. Remove from oven and allow it to compltely cool before storing in an airtight container
