Pepe's Pizza To Open In Boston

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is looking to expand, and it looks like Boston is the lucky city that gets to be the pizzeria's new home.

Pepe's is a renowned Connecticut pizzeria that is well-known for its thin-crust pies baked in coal-fired brick ovens. It has a dedicated and very vocal following of pizza lovers, so it's understandable that the Internet went into an excited frenzy when someone spotted a Craigslist ad for a store manager under the headline, "Pepe's pizza coming to Boston."

According to the Boston Globe, Pepe's confirmed that it is looking to hire local managers in Boston and is looking for real estate in the area. Pepe's already has seven locations in Connecticut and one in Yonkers, N.Y. The company says it could be looking to expand to multiple locations in Boston.

The first location has not yet been decided, and there is as yet no news as to when Pepe's might open in Boston, but Bostonians on the Internet are already excited.

"My Connecticut heart and taste buds are cheering!!!" one Boston-dwelling Twitter user declared.
