Philadelphia's Rex 1516 comes to the rescue with an absinthe cocktail to help celebrate National Absinthe Day. With all of the folklore aside, the anise-flavored spirit is making a huge come back on the craft cocktail scene.

1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce cardamaro
1/4 ounce vieux carre absinthe superieure

Directions

Shake and strain into a chilled coupe; garnish with lime twist.
