Watch Macaulay Culkin's Pizza Underground Perform

Everyone's favorite child star Macaulay Culkin hit the news this week when word broke of his latest venture: A Velvet Underground coverband that rewrites the classic songs into songs about pizza.

The Pizza Underground, as it's so uninspiringly called, performed for the first time in New York City last month, with the percussion coming from an empty pizza box (of course), with behind-the-scenes footage of photo shoots, pizza eating, and rehearsals.

There are croony, semi-sad lyrics about how pizza places deliver, waiting for pizzas, getting super hungry, and trying to hide your slice of pizza from a pizza gal. Not bad covers, especially "Take a Walk on the Wild Side" remixed into "Take a Bite of the Wild Slice," about a traditional pizza girl from Sicily who tries Pizza Hut pizza and cheese-stuffed crust for the first time, not to mention Buffalo chicken pizza. Some solid kazoo playing ends it all, so there's that.
