Starbucks And Match.com Are Trying To Help You Find Caffeinated Love

Starbucks doesn't just want to be your go-to coffee stop in the morning: they want to be your go-to date spot. Starbucks and Match.com are teaming up to bring you the "World's Largest Starbucks Date" on February 13, where a special "menu for two" and special "in-store experiences designed to facilitate connection and celebrate love." Match.com has also added a "Meet at Starbucks" feature on its website, where users can conveniently search for nearby Starbucks locations for a first date.

"There's no better time to celebrate meaningful moments of connection, and encourage new ones, than during Valentine's Day," said Sharon Rothstein, Starbucks' global chief marketing officer. "We're a place where people come together to share important life moments — big and small. We've been witness to first dates, marriage proposals, job interviews, friends and families reunited, communities gathering, and so much more in our stores around the world."

Match.com agrees, and has found that one in three singles say that having coffee together is an ideal first date. We think this could be part of a conspiracy to get the next generation of lovebirds to say "we met at Starbucks." But if you're game, show up with your sweetie for a first date (or 500th date), on February 13th and enjoy the adorable menu for two like the Caffè Verona® Coffee Press for Two and a Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie; and the Grande Raspberry Mocha or Grande White Chocolate Mocha and Heart Cookie. Don't forget to post a photo on social media and tag it #Starbucksdate so that your coffee courtship can be official!
