Paula Deen Announces Upcoming Nationwide Tour
Paula Deen has announced plans for a multi-city tour of the U.S. that kicks off in the Pigeon Forge, Tenn. location of her soon-to-open restaurant, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen. The tour, which begins in June, will feature "Paula Deen Live!" an "interactive ninety-minute show featuring Paula demonstrating how to make her favorite seasonal dishes, including new recipes featuring Springer Mountain Farms chickens."
The upcoming tour comes to us from Paula Deen Ventures (PDV), the privately funded business conglomerate encompassing Deen's restaurants, retail endeavors, and "more expansion opportunities in a range of categories."
Paula will be joined by her husband Michael, and the two of them will "share personal stories and engage the audience in cooking and games," announced PDV.
The first seven shows of the tour have been announced, and Deen is slated to appear in cities in Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia. The remaining 13 shows will be announced shortly.
Tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Thursday, May 1st.
