Give $1 To Charity, Get A Free Wendy's Frosty
Wendy's is already trying to get you to fall off of the New Year's resolution diet wagon! Don't worry, though; it's for a good cause. The company has just announced that throughout 2015, if you purchase a key tag shaped like a Wendy's Frosty for $1, you'll be able to get a free Jr. Frosty. The offer is good throughout 2015, at participating locations while supplies last. Plus, while you're showing off your love of delicious fast food shakes next to your car keys, 90 cents of your dollar will go toward the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, to help children in foster care. You might say it's a doubly sweet deal.
This is the second year that Wendy's has participated in the Frosty Key Tag program. Last year, Wendy's raised $2.9 million nationwide for children in foster care.
"At Wendy's, we believe that every child deserves a family and have worked tirelessly to help children find loving homes," said Liz Geraghty, Wendy's vice president of marketing, in a statement. "Right now, there are more than 100,000 children in foster care in the United States waiting to be adopted. The Frosty Key Tag Program gives our customers a chance to impact the lives of these children in their own communities, while enjoying Frosty treats all year long."
Can't get to your local Wendy's? You can always donate to the foundation and make a Frosty at home.
