Happy Birthday, Hershey's Chicago!

From June 12 to 15, Hershey's Chocolate World in Chicago will be hosting sweet events to celebrate the chocolate mecca's 10th birthday.

Stop in to pose with a Hershey's Kisses character; purchase special 10th anniversary T-shirts and candy bars in milk chocolate, special dark, and cookies 'n' cream flavors; and pick up a free cupcake on June 15 while supplies last. 

Susan Graening, general manager of the Chicago Hershey's Chocolate World, says this will be an exciting event for visitors to the Michigan Avenue location. "This is a very special milestone for us and we're thrilled to be able to share it with our guests," Graening says.

This is an exciting moment for Hershey's Chocolate, which is also offering a chocolate tasting class and moving toward being all-natural and mostly GMO-free.

The Chicago store features a Chocolate Works machine, which allows patrons to participate in the chocolate-making process, and an in-store bakery. Hershey's Chocolate World also has locations in Times Square; Las Vegas; its namesake Hershey, Pennsylvania; Niagara Falls; and across Asia.
