The front door loaded with stickers and advertisements. The rooms are colorful and the table cloths are even brighter. The walls are covered with posters and kitsch. Don’t let the casual decor fool you though, the food here is mouthwatering.

Red Iguana is know especially for the many varieties of flavorful moles but, everything from the classic cheese enchiladas to the exotic enmoladas, corn tortillas folded and filled with refried beans, topped with mole negro and pickled red onions, and sprinkled with queso fresco; are authentic and delicious. Don’t forget to try one of the many varieties of margaritas for a real treat along with your meal.

The restaurant is a family affair, founded in 9185 by Ramon and Maria Cardenas to share their passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. Maria passed away in 2002 but, the Cardenas children now run the restaurant, continuing in their parents footsteps, sharing the food they love.
