This recipe comes from Sally's Baking Addiction, by Sally McKenney. This snack mix is made up of fall favorites like honey roasted peanuts, caramel corn and pretzels for a salty-sweet snack to satisfy any craving.
For easy drizzling, I use an old (and deeply cleaned!) plastic condiment bottle with a small spout. Melt the chocolate, pour it into the bottle, and neatly drizzle it over the snack mix.
- 5 Cups caramel corn
- 3 Cups pretzel twists
- 1 Cup peanut butter candies, such as Reese’s Pieces
- 1 Cup honey-roasted peanuts
- 4 Ounces coarsely chopped semisweet chocolate, such as Baker’s brand
Combine the caramel corn, pretzels, peanut butter candies, and peanuts together in a large bowl. Spread out onto two large cookie sheets. Set aside.
Melt the chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl in 20-second increments until melted, stirring well after each increment. Drizzle the chocolate over the snack mix, then allow it to set for about 20 minutes before digging in. Cover the snack mix and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
