Marco Polo Cocktail Recipe
This adaptation on the Negroni, from mixologists Chad Solomon and Christy Pope, updates the classic recipe with the addition of aromatic herbal tinctures. This is definitely a recipe for more advanced home bartenders.
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1/8 teaspoon green cardamom tincture*
- ½ teaspoon Pippali long pepper tincture
- ½ teaspoon mace tincture
- ½ teaspoon coriander tincture
- Orange slice, for garnish
Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass and garnish with an orange slice.
