Mandalay Bay Wine And Spirits Weekend: Bubbly, Wines, Cocktails, And More
Mandalay Bay is taking luxury to a whole new level, with the newly expanded Wine and Spirits Weekend. Previously the Aureole Wine Weekend, the drink event now invades the entire Mandalay Bay property with bubbly, craft cocktails, and wines.
Among this weekend's events, there's no shortage of drinks. The highlights? A brunch paired with all kinds of bubbly — cava, prosecco, moscato, prosecco, and more; a wine tasting one-off between Californian and French wines, led by Wine director Christophe Tassan, along with master sommelier Jay James; a wine blending session, made with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, with Conn Creek Winemaker Mike McGrath; and a cachaça mixology demonstration, using Brazil's finest spirit. (Not to mention an exclusive dessert and wine pairing during a Gavin Degraw and Colbie Caillat concert!) And let's just say the wine list featured this weekend is a mile long.
And it's not just the spirits that are making waves, it's the food: meals prepared by Hubert Keller (Fleur by Hubert Keller), Vincent Pouessel (Aureole), and Doug Bell (Strip Steak) will create dishes just for the event, including a six-course dinner with expert wine pairings by Master Sommeliers.
Tickets to this red-hot event are still available through Mandalay Bay; tickets start at $100 or enjoy the entire roster of events for $950. Take a look through the full list of events — you won't be able to pick.
