If you think curry only goes with chicken, think again: mixologist Mariena Mercer of the Chandelier Bar in Vegas made an Indian spice-rich sip called the Madame Curry. The warming drink features a mix of Gran centenario reposado, mango puree, yuzu sour (yuzu juice, kaffir lime leaves, lemon juice) and a curry spice blend containing curry powder, Chinese five-spice and cayenne pepper.
- 1 1/2 ounce Gran Centenario Reposado
- 2 ounces mango puree
- 2 ounces yuzu sour*
- 1 spoonful curry spice blend**
- 1 blood orange chip
Assemble ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice in the rocks glass. Garnish with a blood orange chip.
